Abstract

Objectives: Urinary tract infection (UTIs) caused by Citrobacter species have been described in 5 to 12% of bacterial urine isolates in adults. The genus Citrobacter is a distinct group of aerobic Gram-negative bacilli from the Enterobacteriaceae
